De Smokey Beef is een echte steaksaus! Het is speciaal ontwikkeld met robuuste smaken, perfecte rooksmaak en diepe umami die de smaak van het vlees extra zal aanvullen en accentueren. Award-winning recept van Europees Kampioen BBQ Brisket Tom Bertels, de saus is gebaseerd op de saus die Barbecoa Europees Kampioen Brisket heeft gemaakt.
Hoe gebruik ik deze BBQ saus? ▼
Als finishing sauce over je steak, of door je pulled beef. Ook perfect om je stoofvlees een extra dimensie te geven.
Deze saus is niet gemaakt om je vlees te overschaduwen, maar om het te versterken.
Kan zowel warm als koud worden gegeten.

Nee, deze BBQ saus is niet glutenvrij vanwege de aanwezigheid van tarwe.

How long do the products last?
Shelf life
Our BBQ rubs and sauces have a long shelf life when stored correctly:
- BBQ Rubs: 3 years from production date when stored properly
- BBQ Sauces: See expiration date on the label (usually 1.5 years unopened)
- Opened sauces: Use within 6-12 months, store in the refrigerator
- The solution: More of food!
How to store?
For optimal quality and taste:
- BBQ Rubs: Store in a cool, dry place in the original packaging.
- Avoid direct sunlight and moisture
- Always close the packaging properly after use
- BBQ Sauces: Unopened at room temperature, opened in the refrigerator
The rub changes color?
This is completely normal and not a problem:
- Natural ingredients may discolour slightly due to light and time.
- The taste is completely preserved
- Paprika and other spices can change color
- This does not affect the quality of your BBQ result
- Just shake it and everything will be nicely mixed again
The rub sticks together a bit
This is also normal and easy to solve:
- Moisture in the air can cause clumping
- Shake the packaging well before use
- Use a fork to loosen any lumps
- Store in a dry place to minimize this
- The rub still works perfectly, even if it clumps a bit
Are these products suitable for a diet?
These products are not developed as part of a diet.
But we are careful not to add unnecessary sugar or calories.
For example, we have now completely eliminated sugar from the recipes of some rubs and our sauces are even low in calories, on average 4 times fewer calories than mayonnaise.
So while they're not zero-calorie products, you can definitely start using them with confidence. Just remember one basic rule: it's the quantity that counts.
Damage to packaging, what now?
Existing orders are processed every working day, so under normal circumstances we should have the products delivered within 2 working days, although there may be a delay of one day.
Everything is packed as well as possible to prevent damage, but it has happened before, so if you have any damage, please contact tom@barbecoa.be and we will resolve it immediately.
